The maximum image brightness of the new Xiaomi projector reaches 2400 ANSI lumens
Xiaomi has introduced another product for the home and office, which was made by the new laser projector. This is another device that will be released by the partner of the Chinese giant Fengmi, a company that specializes in the production of projectors.
The device is positioned as an improved version of the Xiaomi Mi Projector Vogue Edition, released only last month. The maximum image brightness of the new Xiaomi projector reaches 2,400 ANSI lumens, while the Xiaomi Mi Projector Vogue Edition has 1,500 ANSI lumens. However, even 1500 ANSI lumens is enough with a margin in most cases.
The new Xiaomi Mijia laser projector comes with several different image optimization technologies that help automatically adjust brightness, colour gamut, sharpness, skin colour, and so on. It provides 100 per cent coverage of the Rec.709 colour space. The projector is optimized to reduce the delay in streaming data via HDMI, in this regard it is 50% better than its predecessor, according to the developers.
The Xiaomi Mijia laser projector is equipped with two 10 W speakers for sound output, there is support for Dolby and DTS. The maximum diagonal of a clear projected image reaches 150 inches at FullHD resolution.
In addition, the projector supports video decoding in resolutions up to 8K. As for the software, it works under the control of the same shell as Xiaomi TVs. There is also support for voice assistant.
The novelty is priced at about $ 850.
